3rd Annual “MUCK CITY FEST”

Belle Glade, Florida – Washington Redskins and former Glades Central Raider James Lee will be back in town in early June for his 3rd Annual “Muck City Fest”.
Lee, who is one of many who made it into the NFL through Glades Central High School (via South Carolina State University), will be coming back to his hometown Saturday June 9th at Glades Central Community High School in Belle Glade to hold his NFL Football Camp for the kids.  The football camp is free and will start at 9 00am, it is open to both boys and girls ages 10–17. This football camp has grown from 275 kids the first year, to 325 last year.
James will be on hand with many of his NFL friends and along with accredited High School coaches, to give instruction and will include an obstacle course, team races, individual competitions, and a mock NFL Punt, Pass and Kick contest.  The best is saved for last, as the NFL Players and the kids join teams and play a game of flag football.
At 12:00pm they will be getting things going at Lake Shore Park for the entire community kids and adults with Feeding South Florida distributing food to the community at Lake Shore Park, last year they distributed more than 18,000 pounds of food.  There will also be various community service agencies on hand distributing free information and screenings to everyone.

For those in attendance, there will be “Church in the Park”,  a Street Beat Performance “Greeks in the Park” along with music (DJ, K-Love) free food, drinks, cotton candy, popcorn, bounce houses, a water slide, as well as a fire truck from Belle Glade Fire Department for the younger ones.
