Blue Jays and Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation promote healthy lifestyle to kids living with diabetes
 
                Commitment to making healthy living and decisions a priority has played an important role in how Brandon Morrow manages Type 1 Diabetes and an MLB pitching career.  He shares advice, encouragement and tips to over 125 children with Type 1 Diabetes from the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation during the annual PLAY Campaign at Rogers Centre this Wednesday, August 24, 2011
                For two hours, the participants have the opportunity to learn MLB drills and activities with Blue Jays Training Staff and Players.  This emphasis on healthy living and activity supports the work of Promoting a Lifetime of Activity for Youth (PLAY), a program of the Professional Baseball Athletic Trainers Society (PBATS), the Taylor Hooton Foundation and Major League Baseball Charities.
 
           
        Who:    Brandon Morrow, Eric Thames, Blue Jays training staff George Poulis, Hap Hudson, Strength and Conditioning Coach Bryan King and participants from the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
