Beck Back a Blue Jay

The Blue Jays have claimed RHP Chad Beck off waivers from the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Beck who is 27, returns to the club after being claimed by the Pittsburgh Pirates on October 25, 2012. The 6-4, 255 pound right-hander appeared in 14 games for the Blue Jays last season, posting a 6.32 ERA. In 43 games for Las Vegas (AAA), Beck recorded 18 saves, 4^th in the PCL, along with a 2-0 record and a 1.31.
