Lawrie Rehab Update

DUNEDIN, FLA.–Toronto Blue Jays infielder Brett Lawrie (fractured right index finger) took ground balls at second and made the throws to first for the first time on Tuesday July 29, 2014.  On the 15-day DL since June 23, 2014 Lawrie also took batting practice outside for the first time at the team’s Mattick Complex.  “It feels good, better than yesterday,” said Lawrie as he complete the out door portion of his workouts, “It’s getting better every day.”
