McGowan gets Ready

Also today, Toronto righty Dustin McGowan faced five Phillies extended players  and didn't allow a ball out of the infield.  Getting his pitch count up to approximately 20 pitches McGowan induced his opponents into three ground outs and two strike outs.  McGowan who has suffered shoulder and elbow problems during his career spent the entire 2012 season on the DL for plantar fascitis which led to soreness in his right shoulder.
