16 NFL Pontentials You Ott to Know
By Joshua Ott on September 9, 2015In no time at all the NFL regular season will be open for business, we can stop wondering and finally just sit back and watch it all play out. So many things happen during the season that it’s hard to wrap your head around, injuries, broken records, arrests, coaches on the hot seat and everything in between. I’m here to give you a brief idea of how I think a few issues play out and topics to keep your eyes on. Here are my predictions for the 2015-1016 NFL season.
1. 6 players will be arrested: I can’t say who or for what but I think that’s a good number. I am sure a few DUI’s a drug charge and a couple domestic violence charges should be par for the course.
2. Jay Gruden will be the first coach fired: He really doesn’t stand a chance to last more than 5 weeks. I see them sitting at 1-7 going into their Bye week and that spells Bye-Bye for Jay.
3. This will be the last year Tom Coughlin is the Head Coach of the Giants: He should last the season but missing the Playoffs will hurt his chances of staying.
4. Mike Tomlin will be fired at seasons end: Steelers miss the playoffs this year, yep you read it right… STEELERS MISS THE PLAYOFFS. (Guess what? Tomlin really isn’t that good of a coach)
5. Jason Garrett will be fired at seasons end: Cowboys miss the playoffs this year and Jerry Jones finally cuts ties with Garrett, maybe Jones will beg Jimmy to return. If the Saints miss the playoffs maybe Jones can hire Peyton because he’ll be unemployed as well.
6. Johnny Manziel will not take a single snap for the Browns this year. I think he is moved to 3rd on the Depth chart and possibly traded for a 2025 7th round pick.
7. J.J. Watt will break Michael Strahan’s single season sack record. Watt will finish the season with 24.5 sacks. After that J.J. will move to New York and take over Michaels spot on the morning show with Kelly Ripa.

8. Randy Gregory will win Defensive Rookie of the Year honors. Gregory might end up being the steal of the draft, but he alone isn’t good enough to help propel the Cowboys into the playoffs.
9. Melvin Gordon will win Offensive Rookie of the Year honors: I have him on my fantasy league and I am just hoping for the best.
10. Bishop Sankey will prove his worth and rush for over 1000 yards this season. Adding Mariota will be a major upgrade for the Titans, they aren’t ready for the playoffs yet but they are getting there. Sankey has all the tools to be an every down back and will surprise a lot of people this year.
11. Sam Bradford will break the Eagles record for passing yards and Touchdowns in a single season. Sorry McNabb and Jurgenson but Chip’s offensive is suited to score a lot and Sam crushes your records… If… that’s a BIG IF… IF he stays healthy.
12. The Patriots will find a new and creative way to cheat: They may use high flying Military grade drones to spy on teams, they may hire Julian Assange or Edward Snowden to hack in to team’s emails to gain a competitive edge, however they do it, they will get out of it by paying off another judge.
13. Browns will have a top 5 Defense: Problem with that is, they will also have a bottom 3 offense… Fail for Cardale? Maybe.
14. Jameis Winston will lead the NFL in INT’s: He will also lead the NFL in stolen crustaceans.
15. Division Winners:
West Seattle Seahawks
16: Super Bowl: Patriots vs. Packers: Packers win and Aaron Rodgers wins MVP of the season and of the Super Bowl.
If you go place bets and win I get 15%, if you lose it’s your fault for listening to me. Enjoy the Season!!!
