It’s an Imhof Quality Start

Clearwater Threshers starting pitcher Matt Imhof twirled six innings of one-hit shutout ball to lead his team to a 4-2 win over the Daytona Tortugas Wednesday afternoon at Bright House Field in Clearwater. Outfielder Cord Sandberg collected three hits, stole a base, scored once and batted in a run for the Threshers, who improved to 9-5 on the season. Clearwater and Daytona conclude their three-game series Thursday evening at 7 pm at Bright House Field.
