Well the lineup card is now complete for this year’s Baseball Hall of Fame Induction this coming July in Cooperstown with the addition of the one ball player elected by the baseball writers Barry Larkin.

Larkin, who I will not bore you with a lot of stats, is a fish out of water during these days and times as he played his whole career with one team the Cincinnati Reds.

This 47-year old inductee started his pro career at Double-A in 1985 then part of 1986 at Triple-A before starting his 19-year career in the show.

Congratulations Barry Larkin as you are an example of how the game of baseball was meant to be played.

Now to the ever expanding on air discussions between the “Hockey Hottie” AKA Wendy and “Rocket Rick” AKA Rick on Rocket Sports and Entertainment every Tuesday and Friday at 11 AM on AM 1340 WTAN.

I mean fans yours truly last Friday had to drive to the station, pull in and go on the air letting “Rocket Rick” know that the “Hockey Hottie” got the best of him.

It’s interesting listening to these two exchange points of view no matter how dull Ricks are.  More on these two in future issues.

As a note to the above Rick also really met his match last week when Tom Gilbert of the Lightning front office and yours truly spun a few yarns that ate up an hour of air time.  I guess Tommy G and I still got it.

Now in closing I have heard from a fan or two that Yankee spring training tickets are now hard to come by so you might want to catch them on the road.  So until then…
