TORONTO, ONTARIO

 The TORONTO BLUE JAYS have returned RHP JESSE LITSCH from his medical rehabilitation assignment, reinstated him from the 15-day disabled list and then optioned him to Las Vegas of the Pacific Coast League (AAA).

 LITSCH, 26, was placed on the 15-day disabled list on May 19 with a right shoulder impingement. The 6-1, 225 lb. right-handed pitcher had made eight starts for Toronto this season, posting a 4-3 record with a 4.66 ERA.  The Pinellas Park, Florida native has made seven starts in the minors this season posting a combined record of 0-2 with a 6.59 ERA.  He made six of those starts during his rehabilitation assignment pitching for Lansing of the Midwest League (A), New Hampshire of the Eastern League (AA) and Las Vegas of the Pacific Coast League (AAA).
