bottom of the ninth to beat the Mets 3-1 in Grapefruit League action.  Ezequiel Carrera hit a three run homer to right on the first pitch he saw from Buddy Carlyle for the win.  The Jays improved to 14-4 this spring while the Mets dropped to 7-11. Blue Jays starter Aaron Sanchez had the longest outing of a pitcher this spring 6 1/3 innings on Wednesday as the Jays beat the Mets 3-1.  Sanchez allowed just four hits and struck out four for his shutout effort.  Sanchez is battling for a spot in the Jays starting rotation.

The Jays entertain the Tigers on Thursday in Dunedin, game time is 1:07 PM.
