Brew Crew to Dunedin?
By Eddie Michels on December 6, 2013DUNEDIN, Fla.–The Toronto Blue Jays might be facing some competition from the Milwaukee Brewers even if they don’t leave their only spring training home Dunedin. Local CBS affiliate WTSP Channel 10has reported that the Brewers are interested in Dunedin and they have a connection. Asst. GM Gord Ash is the former GM of the Blue Jays and negotiated the Blue Jays present contract with the city.

The Toronto Blue Jays minor league complex in Dunedin is named for the City’s former Mayor Cecil P. Englebert. As vice mayor in 1976 when Toronto got their AL franchise Englebert traveled to Toronto to sell the team on the city which has now been their spring home ever since. (EDDIE MICHELS PHOTO)
