Dunedin, Fla. — Blue Jays LHP Brett Cecil faced live hitters for the first time in about three-plus weeks on Saturday during a Triple-A game at the Mattick Complex.  Cecil went one inning allowing one run on two hits and struck out one on 15-pitches, 12 for strikes.  Everything felt great I threw all my pitches,” said Cecil afterwards, “I got out of what I would expect for a first outing.”  Right now the main thing is that I feel good,” Cecil continued, “My location is getting better and my rhythms getting better.”  As to his strength and velocity Cecil said, “I just talked to the trainer and I  am actually better than I though I was going to be.  Everything’s good so we are going to do it again Tuesday.”
