Wellington, FL – The Tyler McLellan Foundation is calling all poker players to “Tyler’s Team” Charity Poker Classic Sunday March 27th at the Palm Beach Kennel Club. The event will have complimentary food and soft drinks from 12:00-1:00pm for all registered players and celebrities, along with a 50/50 raffle, and silent auction. Buy in is $50.00 with $20.00 re-buys. The tournament will start at 1pm sharp and will have celebrity bounties with prizes.
“We are looking to get local poker players to join us for a great cause, we even have a few celebrity poker players, current and former NFL players as well as local media celebrities we are calling on to play. You just never know who you may see at this event”. Pre registration is suggested, and you may go to their website for a registration form and information.
The Tyler McLellan Foundation was started after the McLellan’s lost their 15-year old son in an “Angel Flight” plane crash in Tampa on July 17, 2008. Since then, they have done everything they could to raise money for youth sports in South Florida. The foundation is geared towards rewarding perseverance and not allowing a family’s finances to hold players back.
The foundation currently is in need of Sponsors, Auction Items and In Kind Donations.
