By on September 6, 2011

DUNEDIN, Fla.(RSEN)—Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Rajai Davis (torn left hamstring) won’t be appearing on a rehab assignment during the first round of the Class-A Dunedin playoff games. After playing his scheduled four innings Sunday in center field Davis still appeared to be favoring his left leg so he will work out now at the team’s minor league complex. No member of the Jays staff would comment exactly of to Davis condition but led one to believe that he might be done for the season. Davis, who was injured on August 14, had played two games for Dunedin hitting .400 with one homer and one RBI.
