FAN APPRECIATION WEEKEND – Blue Jays

Fan Appreciation Weekend kicks off Friday night with great prizes including a new car, the Honda Insight LX – the Hybrid for everyone.  Other Honda prizing includes the PCX150 Mid-Sized Scooter and a Honda Snow Blower.  Fans are also encouraged to visit the Fan Zone, located at Gate 9A, for the chance to win prizes and be on hand when the Budweiser King Club welcomes a special guest to meet the fans.

            Saturday is Jr. Jays Fan Appreciation Day, as it is the final Saturday of the season, and the conclusion to Jr. Jays Saturdays presented by Boston Pizza.  In addition to all the regular programs for the club’s Jr. Jays, the first 10,000 kids (14 and under) in attendance will receive a Jr. Jays t-shirt.  The prizing continues for Jr. Jays fans as some will win the opportunity for front of the line access to run the bases post game.

            Sunday is Home Hardware Fan Appreciation Day, where the first 20,000 fans to enter Rogers Centre will receive a Home Hardware player t-shirt which will feature Blue Jays players including J.P. Arencibia, Jose Bautista, Casey Janssen, Edwin Encarnacion, Brett Lawrie and Colby Rasmus.  Following the game nine lucky winners of the Jersey Off Our Backs contest will be invited on to the field after the game to be personally presented a game worn jersey by one of the nine starting players in the batting order.

            Sunday will also feature the Jays Care Foundation Garage Sale located at gate 9A.  This is a terrific opportunity to obtain unique Blue Jays memorabilia while contributing to a great cause at the same time.

            Throughout the weekend the Blue Jays will also host a Fan Appreciation Weekend Sale at all Jays Shop locations – Rogers Centre, Sears at Eaton Centre and on-line at www.bluejays.com.  This is a great opportunity for fans to purchase Blue Jays merchandise at 30% off regular pricing.
