CLEARWATER, FLA.–Yankees outfielder Curtis Granderson singles and went 4-5 with two doubles during an extended spring game against the Phillies on Tuesday May 7, 2013.  Granderson, broke his right ulna when he was hit by a pitch during his first spring training game on February 24, 2013.  “Not sure yet we’re still talking, trying to figure how many at bats I need”, said Granderson, “Today was just my first DH day.  We’re doing a lot to keep the legs underneath, a lot of running and a lot of cardio so whenever they (Yankees) do say we should be really close to being there.”  As to a possible short rehab assignment Granderson said, “That’s what we are hopping, we’re getting at bats that’s the big thing so hopefully not to long.”
