TAMPA, FLA.–Every once in a while a writer/photographer gets a chance to cover and snap a photo of a young man’s first hit in professional baseball.  Rocket Sports and Entertainment got that privilege on Wednesday June 26, 2013 when the Toronto Blue Jays 16th round pick Danny Jansen of Appleton Wisconsin got his first pro hit.  The single to right center came in the third inning of a Rookie Level Gulf Coast League game in Tampa.  It was a start of a good day at the plate for the 18-year old that saw him go 3-5, scoring two and driving in two in a 10-0 win over the Yankees squad.  It was just another step up for the young catch as he has also been named a first team high school all star in the Fox Valley of Wisconsin.
