JAYS FIRST SACKER IS HONDA PLAYER OF THE MONTH

Edwin Encarnacion has been named the HONDA PLAYER OF THE MONTH for April by the Toronto Chapet of the Baseball Writer’s Association of America.
 Honda, the official vehicle of the Blue Jays, will make a donation to the charity of Edwin’s choosing.
This marks his third earned consecutive award dating back to last season and fourth since the beginning of 2012. The right-handed hitter batted .238 with a team leading nine home runs and 20 RBI.  The native of La Romana, Dominican Republic has posted seven home runs or more in five of his last seven months dating back to April of 2012.
