Jays look to get the Hot Hitting Lind Back in Line-up

DUNEDIN, Fl.–Blue Jays 1B Adam Lind (lower back) took ground balls and hit in the cage at the teams minor league complex Monday.  Lind, who last played on May 7, was hitting .313 with seven homers and 27 RBI said that Tuesday he was going to start taking live BP.

DUNEDIN, Fl–Toronto Blue Jays first baseman Adam Lind (lower back) took ground balls and hit off a tee at the team’s minor league complex.  On the 15-day DL back dated to May 8, Lind appeared to go through the short workout with no problems.  “It feels good,” said Lind of his back, “I’m taking grounders and some swings seeing how it feels then progress forward.”  Lind is hitting .313 this season with seven homers and 27 RBI.
