Brandon Morrow has been diagnosed with an entrapped radial nerve in his right forearm. The diagnosis made by Dr. James Andrews yesterday is expected to keep the 6-3, 196 pound right-hander out for approximately six weeks. Morrow will begin a throwing program once soreness subsides.

Morrow has made 10 starts for the Blue Jays this season posting a 2-3 record with a 5.63 ERA. In 87 starts over four seasons with the Blue Jays he has recorded a 33-28 mark with a 4.32 ERA.

Morrow was drafted by the Seattle Mariners in the 1st round (5th pick) of the 2006 amateur draft and spent 3 years with the Mariners.
