while,” said Litsch afterwards when ask about starting a rehab assignment, “Today everything felt good and I was ready to get out there.”

Litsch threw anything but a short side the next morning with no problems since being placed on the 15-Day DL with a right shoulder impingement May 20.  “I probably went more than 35-pitches but it’s a good side,” said Litsch, “I wanted to push it and see how it (shoulder) feels, it feels great.  Now another bullpen Friday then we will go from there.”  Litsch is 4-3 with a 4.66 ERA this season.

Litsch had his second bullpen session moved inside Friday as rain showers blanketed the area.  Litsch reported no problems after throwing 35-plus pitches and expects to throw another bullpen on this week.
