Kyle Drabek Hurls Six Shut out Innings

DUNEDIN, Fl. (RSEN)–Toronto Blue Jays RHP Kyle Drabek tossed six shutout innings against the Yankees Triple-A squad on Monday.

Drabek needed 89-pitches during his outing while allowing five hits, walking three and striking out four. [media-credit attachment_id=5445 id=10 align=”alignright” width=”134″][/media-credit]
      “I took it like every other game and tried to stay on line,” said Drabek. 
     He is the son of 1982 NL Cy Young winner Doug Drabek and is vie for a spot in the Toronto opening day rotation. 
     “He is kind of staying away a bit,” said Kyle of his dad, “What ever happens, happens, as if I am sent down.”
     The Blue Jays host the Phillies on Tuesday at 1:05 PM with the game being already sold out for the fifth time this spring.
