Lawrie will return to Las Vegas on Tuesday

DUNEDIN, Fl.–Third baseman Brett Lawrie (left wrist) took himself out of his rehab game for Class-A Dunedin when he was hit by a pitch during his first at bat.
     “I wanted to get out of here in one piece,” said Lawrie of his past two games, “It seems every time I go up there I have been hit in the same arm or wrist.  I have been hit three time and it’s not my cup of tea.”
     Lawrie, who had been hit on the left arm and forearm took himself out of the game after an inning and a half.
     “It’s raining out and the ball can get wet so I took it upon myself too and looked to the future.”
     Lawrie, who with rejoin Las Vegas in Colorado Springs on Tuesday, hit .125 with one RBI over four error-less games at third.
