DUNEDIN, Fl. (RSEN)–Toronto Blue Jays first baseman Adam Lind (lower back) hit five of his 20-swings out of the park during his first BP session Tuesday in Dunedin.

Hitting .313 with seven homers and 27 RBI this season Lind reported no back problems.

“No it feels good today,” said Lind who had spent the previous three days hitting in the cage, “I don’t know what exactly the plan is on the progress but tomorrow I DH in an extended spring game.”

As to taking the field in a game Lind said, “Past Wednesday they haven’t told me anything yet.  Hopefully on Thursday I can play in an extended game.”

Lind, who last played May 7 is on the 15-day DL that was back dated to May 8.
