Pirates Camp Update

Former Toronto Blue Jays first rounder Joe Musgrove threw a bullpen session on Friday for the Pittsburgh Pirates. Drafted 46th overall in 2011 Musgrove was traded to the Astros on July 20, 2012 before being traded to the Pirates on January 13th of this year. Pirates manager Clint Hurdle has said that he will be looking for Musgrove to be in the starting rotation.

RHP Bo Schultz threw his second simulated bullpen session of the spring on Friday. Schultz, who had Tommy John Surgery last March 29th while with the Blue Jays isn’t expected to throw a live session till sometime in April. (EDDIE MICHELS PHOTO)

He was the Miami Marlins first round pick in the June 2013 now Colin Moran is looking to catch on with the Buc’s Moran was traded to the Astros on July 31, 2014 by Miami and arrived with the Pirates in the Joe Musgrove trade on January 13th this year.
