By Eddie Michels on April 29, 2013CLEARWATER, FLA.–Lefty sidearm hurler Clay Rapada is looking to get back into shape and rejoin the New York Yankees by throwing a shutout inning today in an extended spring game against the Phillies. Originally signed by the Cubs, Rapada was released by the Yankees on April 5, 2013 then resigned as a free agent on April 9, 2013. Rapada has played for the Cubs, Tigers, Rangers and Yankees posting a 8-0 record with a 4.15 ERA including a 3-0 record with the Yankees in 2012 with a 2.82 ERA as a situtational pitcher.
