Jose Reyes placed 15-day disabled list with left hamstring tightness after he left the game yesterday against the Tampa Bay rays at Tropicana Field.  Reyes spent time last year on the shelf playing only 93 games.

Jonathan Diaz was called up from Buffalo.  Diaz appeared in five games for Boston last season, making his Major League debut on June 29 vs. Toronto. The 5-9, 155 pound right-handed hitter was drafted by the Blue Jays in the 12th round of the 2006 draft and has spent all but last season in the Blue Jays organization.
