Sporting his new knee brace Blue Jays RHP Marcus Stroman threw his last bullpen session at the Mattick Complex before starting his rehab assignment with Class-A Lansing on Wednesday.

“I feel great and I am ready to pitch,” said Stroman, “I’m on my five day now so it was my normal bullpen.  I’ll have 60 or 65 in Lansing then the next one (Buffalo) to 75 or 80.”

Stroman was ask if after Buffalo was it back to the show?

“Back to the show, that’s the plan, that’s what all the hard work was for right?  Now it’s time to have fun as all the hard work was put in now, it’s time to have fun and do what I do.”

Stroman is scheduled to leave Monday morning for Lansing.

As a note, while doing a bit of rehab at Duke University since being injured Stroman found time to earn his college degree there.
