Robbie Alomar Takes a First Hand Look
By Eddie Michels on September 27, 2010DUNEDIN, Fl.(RSE) — Former Blue Jays great Robbie Alomar discusses team prospects with Mel Didier (L) and Mel Queen (R) at the team’s Englebert Complex in Dunedin. The 42-year old Alomar, who still looked like he could play second base, said he was at the instructional camp to get a first hand look at the team’s prospects. A 12-time All Star and career .300 hitter over 17-seasons, Alomar just missed election into the Baseball Hall of Fame this year by just eight votes (73.7%) in 2010.
