BRADENTON, FLA.–Toronto Blue Jays starter Aaron Sanchez (right middle finger) went 3 2/3 inning on Tuesday for Class-A Dunedin in his first rehab start.

“It feels good,” said Sanchez of his pesky right middle digit,  “No issues, today it was fine.”

Against Bradenton Sanchez allowed three runs on six hits while walking two and striking out three.

As to possibly being back by the All Star break Sanchez said, “We’ll see if everything goes fine in the next few days.  A decision will be made in the next five days where I will pitch again.”

Sanchez threw 63 pitches, 36 for strikes with a 94 MPH fastball and a 79 MPH curve.
