“With 10 races, five series and a world-class line up of entertainment, the 2012 weekend promises to be the best one yet,” said Tim Ramsberger, Vice President and General Manager of the Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg. “Our track has so many great vantage points and views, but none better than the grandstands. Competing drivers and fans alike enjoy our waterfront track and we can’t think of a better city for them to start off the season of racing.”

For the second consecutive year, the Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg is the season opener for the 2012 IZOD IndyCar Series and features the entire Road to Indy racing ladder, which consists of the Firestone Indy Lights, USF2000 and the Star Mazda series. In addition, the event will also feature the Pirelli Wold Challenge Championships, which hold the Acura Sports Car Challenge of St. Petersburg. For the first time, the event will also feature the Ferrari Challenge, which allows exotic car enthusiasts to see the Ferrari 458 Challenge in its natural environment – the race track.

Single-day reserved tickets are available for Sunday, and range in price from $60 to $80 for adults and from $35 to $55 for juniors. Meanwhile, general admission tickets on Sunday will cost adults $40 and juniors $15, while general admission on Friday and Saturday will range from $25 for adults and $10 for juniors.

The event’s Pit Lane VIP suites are now sold out, but tickets to the Trackside Club are now available. The Club offers a suite experience trackside for individuals and small groups through a turnkey, economical hospitality option. The Acura Yacht Club is also selling out fast, with just a few boat slips still available to those wishing to dock ship and enjoy the race from a unique vantage point.
