Step Up and Go Red for Women with Florida Hospital North Pinellas

Tarpon Springs, FLA.– Florida Hospital North Pinellas is taking a stand against heart disease.  Join us Friday, February 7, 2014 at 8:00am for the Heart Hope Flag Raising Ceremony in front of the hospital, located at 1395 South Pinellas Ave. in Tarpon Springs.  This free event is open to the community and all are welcome to attend.

Did you know that heart disease is the number 1 killer of women, associated with more deaths than all forms of cancer combined?  Come by and grab a boxed breakfast, a bag of informational goodies and meet Dr. Christman of the Florida Hospital North Pinellas Physician’s group, an advocate of women’s heart health.

Show your support of the movement by wearing red clothing, shoes or other accessories to send a message of hope against this killer.  In addition to the Heart Hope Flag Raising Ceremony, Florida Hospital North Pinellas will be selling an awareness t-shirt with proceeds to benefit the hospital’s Heart Center of Excellence.  All individuals who purchase a t-shirt will also be included in a raffle to win a pair of red pumps for the women, or a red tie for the men.
