CHICAGO, ILL – In a continued effort to support those who have been affected by Hurricane Sandy, the Arena Football League free agency period will be delayed until Monday, November 5, the Arena Football League announced today.

Multiple teams and a number of players reside in areas that have been hit by severe weather so the decision has been made to ensure that everyone can begin the free agency process with no competitive disadvantage.

The AFL free agency period was previously set to begin on Tuesday, October 30. The exclusive signing period will be extended through Sunday, November 4 and free agents will be assigned beginning on Monday, November 5.
