DUNEDIN, Fla.–Right-hander Carlos Villanueva (strained right forearm) continues rehabbing Saturday with no problems

at the Blue Jays minor league complex in Dunedin.  Villanueva said he will be taking Sunday off from throwing and throw a bullpen session on Monday.

 Villanueva (strained right forearm) continues to make rapid progress in hopes of returning to the team in September.
     “I haven’t felt this good since June,” said Villanueva Friday morning refering to the Reds game in June when he figures his problems started.
     Villanueva threw a lengthy long toss session from 120-feet on Friday expects after an off day on Sunday to throw a bullpen session on Monday.  That will be followed by two rehab appearences with Class-A Dunedin prior to returning to the Jays.
     Villanueva , who is 6-3 with a 4.24 era has been on the 15-day DL since August 11 back dated to August 4 is getting a bigger and bigger smile on his face each time he is out throwing.
