Music can get stale, pop music is always boring and finding new music we love is like finding a sober kid at a frat party, but lucky for you I’m here to give you a few songs that will fill your ears with joy and happiness. I tried to put something on the list everybody could appreciate, if you can’t find one that makes you nod your head you may want to get your hearing checked or maybe even end your life because you obviously have no reason to live if you can’t enjoy music.

Krayzie Bone: “Headhunters”:

Not his best song but he is the Grand Daddy and always makes me happy hearing him put out new music.  He still has the speed and the harmony to keep you locked in.

Twists Ft. Tech N9ne:  “Crisis”:

This may be Twista featuring Tech N9ne but Tech steals the show, the beat is INSANE and it makes me want to run through walls while kicking stranger’s kidneys.  Angst filled speed rap!!!

Wrekonize:  “Anxiety Attacks”:

Wrekonize is signed to Tech N9ne’s STRANGE MUSIC and I think he is about to BLOW UP, you’ll hear him again later on the list, he can freestyle, Rap, Harmonize and flat out sing. He is can go lyrically deep or keep fun, he is one of the most well rounded artists around today. GREAT VOCALS, modern day Nate Dogg type of ability.

Jack White: “Would You Fight For My Love?”:

Oh Jack… This dude is what ROCK AND ROLL should be today, dirty yet complex guitar riffs, solid vocals and deep bass and drum beats. You can’t mistake Jack White’s sound for anybody else out there. The more I listen to this song the more I enjoy it, thanks JACK!

Mark Lanegan: “I am the Wolf”:

You want a vocalist that can haunt you with every single syllable? That’s Mark Lanegan. Blues/Rock/Grunge/ … no genre can actually box Mark Lanegan in, he is a PURE MUSICIAN and it shows on this song as it does on any and all of his songs. You can’t go wrong here, you just can’t.

Tech N9ne ft. Mayday, Kendrick Lamar, and Kendall Morgan: “Fragile”:

Remember I said you would be hearing from Wrekonize again? Well here he is singing and setting the tone for the song that shows the serious side of Tech N9ne. This is a perfect example of how to blend all types of music together and make something special. Not one person steals the thunder they are all equally amazing on this track, one of my favorite songs from 2014 without a doubt. Kendrick proves why he is the youth movement in Rap, Kendall Morgan hits your soul with her vocals and all in all a PERFECT SONG!

Mastodon: “Tread Lightly”:

YESSSSSSSSS!!!!!! METAL at its finest! Don’t even try to argue with me about that, these guys are carrying on the torch of their forefathers and the flame is hotter than ever! Ahhhh metal!!!

Mark Ronson ft. Mystikal: “Fell Right” :

I love Mystikal, dude just makes me want to stomp my feet and smile. Could Mark Ronson resurrect the career of Mystikal? Well at least he will introduce him to an all new demographic.

Mushroomhead:  “Out of My Mind”:

CLEVELAND… REPRESENT!!! The masked ones are back and it sounds like they have not lost a step. It’s hard to sit still while playing this song, so get up and do some damn push-ups or shadow box in the mirror, this song is the perfect song for working out at high and intense speeds.

Machine Gun Kelly: “State of Mind”:

KELLS!!! I know a lot of you out there hate on MGK but once he breaks free from Bad Boy Records he’ll blow up even more. CLEVELAND IN THE HOUSE!! White, tattooed and able to spit hundreds of syllables in seconds this kid is ULTRA talented and only going to get better with experience and time.

Down: “We Knew Him Well”:

You didn’t think I would add a list of songs without finding a way to put in some Phil did you? The dirty bayou south is represented well with this one. Phil is Phil and he does Phil well.

Black Label Society: “My Dying Time”:

Zach is like a fine wine, he really is getting better with age, I love this song and the entire album is great. One of the best guitarists of our time and no doubt an incredible front man as well. Metal!!!!

SO there you have it, a list of music you should be listening to, enjoy yourself and if you enjoy yourself a lot make sure you clean up when you are done.
