Boys of Spring Fans

Fans young and old wait on the sidewalk outside the Mattick Complex in hopes of getting an autograph or two from the early arriving Blue Jays.  It appears that there are about 20-plus players already working out at the complex even though the first official workout for pitchers and catchers isn’t until February 22nd.

The half field at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium in Dunedin gets its new sod infield on Tuesday in preparation for the Blue Jays 40th spring training.  The team’s first workout is scheduled for February 22nd when pitchers and catchers hold their first workout.
