BLUE JAYS LITSCH ELECTS FREE AGENCY

The TORONTO BLUE JAYS have reinstated RHP JESSE LITSCH from the 60-day disabled list. The right-hander has elected free agency in lieu of accepting an outright assignment to the minor leagues. LITSCH, 27, posted a 27-27 record with a 4.16 ERA in 88 games (67 starts) over parts of five seasons with the Blue Jays (2007-11).
