The Inex Winternationals for Legend and Bandolero cars will return to Auburndale Speedway February 20th through February 25th. This will mark the 8th edition of this national event, and  teams from all corners of the United States, and Canada are expected to be on hand to compete for this national title, in 2011 over one hundred race teams made the trip to Auburndale , and even more teams are expected for the 2012 edition.

The legend cars are smaller scaled down race cars, powered by spec Yamaha motorcycle engines, and conform to a standard unified rules package meaning no one racer should have a mechanical advantage. This series puts emphasis on driver skill, and experience. Drivers are grouped by age, and experience in five different classes. Drivers will range in age from eight years old, to over sixty.

These race cars are the true grassroots of motorsports. The series is designed to allow young drivers to develop, and allow the older more experienced drivers a place to compete while keeping initial, and operating costs at a minimum. These cars produce some of the best racing you will see anywhere, and the ¼ mile paved oval at Auburndale is perfectly suited for these cars, expect to see side by side, bumper to bumper action throughout the week.
