The college football world has turned upside down.  With Conference realignment, scandal after scandal, coaches changes, now this.    For the past 29 years you could always count on one variable in college football; a Florida school ranked in the top 25.

With Florida, Florida St. and Miami losing on the same day for the first time since October 30, 2004 and the second time since, well  you have to go all the back to October 14, 1978. That’s right “Kiss You All Over” by Exile sat on top of the billboard chart.

This weekend the polls are shaken on the peninsula.  With Miami not in anyway, Florida and Florida St. were quick departures with bad losses on Saturday.  Although Florida traveled to Baton Rouge to take on number one LSU,  it was the blow-out factor here, Tigers 41-14.  Florida St. on the other hand it was just a plain old bad loss to unranked ACC foe Wake Forest.

Makes you wonder;   2012 is right around the corner, are those crazy Mayans right?  Tune after tonight, the Detroit Lions could be 5 and 0.
