Malave Passing Leaves Sadness

Omar Malave’s passing has surely left sadness in the heart of many former players.

“He was a very nice person and was good to the players he managed,” said Eddie Michels when hear of Malave’s passing. Eddie spent years and years covering the minor leagues in Florida getting to know the managers very well. Eddie always keeps us up to date with the ongoings of front office staff, managers, coaches and players as they move through different stages of their careers.

Most of the updates are good ones, but then they are the times when we have to report the sadness of the Omar Malave passing.

Rocket Sports & Entertainment Network passes along condolences to Omar’s family, friends and all in the baseball world saddened by the loss. Malave, just 58 years old.
