By on January 15, 2025

DUNEDIN, FLA. -Repairs started on Wednesday January 15, 2025 at the Toronto Blue Jays Player Development Complex Field 6.  The damage was done on October 9, 2024, by Hurricane Milton which caused the third base dugout at Field 6 to be leveled as seen in the first photo.

With entrance not allowed to the area, it appears that the damage to Field 6 was all there was from the hurricanes that struck the area in September and October 2024. (EDDIE MICHELS PHOTO)

Fencing contractors started the repairs on January 15th to get the dugout and field ready for spring training to start as scheduled as pitchers and catchers report on February 13th.  Position players report five days later for the team’s first full-squad workout with their first spring game against the Yankees on February 22nd.
