Saint Leo Basketball Schedule Announced

Saint Leo, Fla. –  Saint Leo University Athletic Communications has announced the 2012-13 Men’s basketball schedule.

The Rocket Sports & Entertainment Network (RSEN) broadcast schedule over the Saint Leo University Lions-Stretch Internet Network  is soon to be announced.  RSEN’s Rick Sassone who also is the Lions play by play voice said,  “Our initial plan is to broadcast all the home games along with selected road games plus all post-season games.   We will be meeting soon with the Saint Leo Athletic Department,  I would imagine in the next couple weeks to set the schedule.  I know we will be aiming to broadcast  for as many away games as logistically possible.  I can also share with you I am extremely excited for this upcoming season, I can’t wait!”

Last season RSEN broadcast-ed all but one home game (Lynn), all post season games and three road games (Tampa, Florida Southern & Eckerd).  This year the Stretch Internet Network will feature video.

Sassone gave an indication both RSEN and Saint Leo University would like to expand road coverage to more games on the road this year.
