1-2-3 for Romano, Wells Starts Friday
By Eddie Michels on June 19, 2014DUNEDIN, Fla.–Toronto Blue Jays 10th pick in the 2014 June Draft and highest Canadian pick by the team Jordan Romano tossed a 1-2-3 inning in his first pro game.
Facing the Yankees Rookie Level GCL squad as the closer Romano struck out one and induced two fly outs on 16-pitches with a fastball that topped out at 95-MPH.
The Blue Jays GCL squad starts their regular season on Friday June 20th against the Phillies at the Bobby Mattick Complex in Dunedin at Noon.
