BLUE JAYS RELEASE TEAHEN

  The TORONTO BLUE JAYS have given infielder MARK TEAHEN his unconditional release. TEAHEN, 30, was acquired from the Chicago White Sox on July 27 along with RHP Edwin Jackson in exchange for RHP Jason Frasor and RHP Zach Stewart.  The 6-3, 230lb. left-handed hitter combined to hit  .200 last season in 78 games with four home runs and 14 RBI for the White Sox and Blue Jays.
