It’s been many years since a female vocalist has been able to capture heavy metals fans hearts with their music but with their physical attributes but this years Mayhem Festival was able to achieve this twofold.

The band Butcher Babies sports not one but two female vocalists in Heidi Shepherd and Carla Harvey.

I interviewed Carla And Chris after their set at The Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival in Tampa and we spoke about the tour, their label support from Century Media, Octane on Sirius and not being labeled as just a female fronted metal band etc.

A Deserved Resurgence Into Open Arms – EVAN SEINFELD

Evan Seinfeld is an artist. Doesn’t matter what form of artistic medium he chooses, he excels. From being the bassist/vocalist in his original 20 year band Biohazard, or an actor in the renowned HBO series OZ, he continues to create and lives his dreams and he always learns from his mistakes. He has come full circle in his musical carousel now fronting his next Supergroup, Attika 7.
He sat with me backstage at this year’s Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival in Tampa and we discussed
many topics. These included sex and music, his previous Supergroup project on VH1, Damnocracy, Uncle Ted & Sebastian Bach and where Evan Seinfeld has been and his resurgence in the metal scene.
