Howard Moving on Up
Former Phillies first baseman now Braves minor leaguer Ryan Howard is moving up the ladder to return to the majors. Howard, shown here on Thursday playing first against the Canadian National 18U squad is scheduled to report to Triple-A Gwinnett on either Saturday or Sunday to begin play.

Signed to a minor league contract by the Braves former Phillie first baseman Ryan Howard went 2-4 against the Canadian National Junior team on Thursday at Disney World. Ryan scored once, walked once and lined into a double play against the 18U Canadians.
