Sprakman Rehab Start

Toronto Blue Jays RHP Glenn Sparkman made his first rehab start for the extended spring training squad against the Yankees extended squad in Tampa.  Sparkman (compressed fracture right thumb) faced three hitters throwing 11 pitches, all fastballs and allowed one hit with his fastball topping out at 94 MPH.  “Everything went great,” said Sparkman, “In about two days or so I will throw another inning.” (EDDIE MICHELS PHOTO)
