The first week of the 2015 Arizona Fall League is in the books, and one of the early hitting stars is Dunedin Blue Jays first baseman Rowdy Tellez, who has plated eight RBI in his first four games for the Salt River Rafters. The 20-year-old Tellez smacked 14 homers, knocked in 77 runs and posted a .289/.347/.454/.801 slash line between Class A Lansing and High-A Dunedin this year; he is currently the Blue Jays’ No. 7 prospect according to MLBPipeline.com. Tellez stands 6-foot-4 and weighs in at 245 pounds; he is an intriguing power prospect who absolutely bears watching as he makes his way through the Blue Jays’ minor league system.
