Jays “Happ” y with 4-3 Win

Andrew Triggs didn’t have his best stuff when he came into the game in the third inning on Friday for the Orioles against the Blue Jays.  After allowing a single run in the third the first batter he faced in the fourth Russell Martin homered on a 1-1 offering, Justin Smoak followed on an 0-1 pitch with a homer.  After two outs Dalton Pompey followed with another solo homer on a 3-2 pitch ending Triggs day.  The Jays took a 4-3 win over the O’s to improve to 3-0 this spring with a tie.  Brad Penny got the win for the Jays while Triggs took the loss for the O’s. The Blue Jays host the Phillies on Saturday at 1:07 at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium in Dunedin.
