USFBulls will take on Florida A&M and Memphis in 7:00 p.m. kickoffs at Raymond James Stadium

The American Athletic Conference has announced two more kick times for USF football’s 2015 campaign, bringing the Bulls announced kick times to four so far. USF was slated for a pair of kickoffs under the lights at Raymond James Stadium, first to open the 2015 season and then to open their third season of American Athletic Conference play.

USF will open the 2015 campaign, the third under Head Coach Willie Taggart, in a 7:00 p.m. kickoff vs. Florida A&M on Saturday, Sept. 5 in Tampa. The game will be broadcast on ESPN3 and can be heard on the USF/IMG Radio Network. The Bulls are 2-0 vs. the Rattlers, winning 70-17 in the last meeting in 2011.

Five weeks later and following a bye week, the Bulls will open American Athletic Conference play in Tampa with a Friday night clash on Oct. 2 vs. co-defending conference champion Memphis.  That game is also slated for a 7:00 p.m. kickoff and will be televised on ESPN2. Memphis leads the close series, 4-3, after taking a 31-21 victory at the Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium last year. USF is 2-1 vs. the Tigers in Raymond James Stadium.

USF now has kick times and television arrangements announced for four games in the 2015 season. Three of those games are slated for a national television broadcast. The Bulls’ Saturday, Sept. 12 game at Florida State, set for an 11:30 a.m. kickoff on ESPN, and the Bulls’ Saturday, Oct. 31 clash at Navy, set for a noon kick on CBS Sports Network, were previously announced.

USF begins its summer camp slate Saturday with the USF One Day Camp at the Morsani Football Complex. It is the first of seven football camps hosted on the USF campus through June and July. USF will also hold satellite camps in Ft. Myers (June 11), Miami (June 12), Panama City (June 18) and Jacksonville (June 19).

USF returns 13 starters (5 offense, 7 defense and 1 specialist) for Taggart’s third season at the helm. The Bulls will return their top five tacklers (9 the top 12 overall) and players that accounted for 73 percent of the team’s tackles in 2014. USF returns 100 percent of its rushing yardage from 2014, including 1,000-yard rusher Marlon Mack, and 50 percent of its receptions and receiving yards.

The USF Football program completed its 18th season and 15th at the FBS level. The Bulls have made six bowl appearances, including every season between 2005-10, and have four bowl game victories. USF has produced 14 All-America selections, 23 NFL Draft picks and reached the No. 2 ranking in the Associated Press Poll in 2007.
